I BOUGHT ME A CAT
3rd grade classes wrote new lyrics for "I Bought Me a Cat." Based on our video submissions, NEST+m was selected to appear in a short film shown at each of the Carnegie Hall "Link Up" orchestra concerts. There were 6 performances with approx. 2,600 3rd - 5th graders attending each concert!
Eight NEST+m students were filmed in front of a green screen, and fun animations were added. When the final student challenges Nate to sing our lyrics with the orchestra, she is referring to our host for the concert, Nathaniel Stampley. Nate has appeared in several shows on Broadway including "The Lion King' and "The Color Purple."
